Plane Crash

From OCPD Facebook: "This evening at approximately 6:19PM, an OCPD officer observed a small plane make an emergency landing into shallow waters of the ocean in the area of 21st St. and the Beach. There was one occupant of the aircraft who was evaluated by OCFD Paramedics and released. Preliminary, it appears the plane experienced mechanical problems, however; further investigation is being handled by MSP."

Crews from OCFD reponded quickly to the emergency, secured the plane, and assisted moving it from the surf. After the plane was on the beach, firefighters mitigated a small fuel spill until the craft could be removed from the beach.
