Firefighters Simulate Previous Call During Training

Ocean City Fire Department recently responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a small SUV. The Engine Company arrived on scene to find the operator of the motorcycle trapped underneath the other vehicle. The crew quickly went to work, freeing the trapped motorcyclist.
Tuesday's Drill Night demonstrated the strategy firefighters used on that call and also gave firefighters the opportunity to learn other techniques using tools limited to the ones they would find on a first due engine.
