At approximately 15:30 hours on March 8, 2013 Ocean City units were dispatched to assist Berlin with a residential structure fire. Berlin units arrived to find smoke showing from side C of a 2 story single family and continued all units.Command reported a fire in the chimney area. Ocean City assisted with 2 engines, 2 tankers, as well as 2 aerials. Ocean City units arrived and assisted by stretching a second attack line to the second floor and check for any extension into the attic area with nothing found. Crews then assisted with opening up the area around the fireplace and checking for any further extension. Ocean City crews operated for approximately an hour and returned to quarters.
