On Friday October 8th, the Bank of Ocean City hosted a free cookout fundraiser at their headquarters in West Ocean City, along with the Ocean City Volunteer Fire Co. The event was held as part of the Station 5 Paver Drive in order to raise funds for OCVFC’s building fund for their new Station 5 currently under construction on Keyser Point Road. A number of pavers were sold on the spot and numerous paver forms were handed out, as well as fire safety pamphlets and free smoke detectors. On hand from the OCVFC were Mike Giardina, Asst. Chief Bryant Bunting, Sean Donovan, Bob Trautman, and Steve Price. At the end of the cookout $1,049.00 dollars was raised, and the Bank of Ocean City donated another $1,000.00 bringing the total to $2,049.00. Thanks to all for your continued support.
