On Thursday, September 10, 2009 at approximately 1:30am, the Ocean City Fire Department was dispatched to #9 St. Louis Ave., for a reported house fire. Fire units arrived on scene and observed a 1 ½ stories, single family home, with heavy fire conditions visible. Fire units extinguished the fire and remained on the scene for approximately 2 ½ hours performing overhaul operations. The origin and cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Division of the Ocean City Fire Department. Fire and smoke damage was located throughout the house. No fire related injuries were reported.
