Jet Ski's Crash - Assawoman Bay

At 1:00 pm Ocean City Fire Department units were dispatched to 32nd Street for a reported Jet Ski accident. It was found that two Jet Skis collided. Assistant Fire Chief Bo Duke arrived on scene and confirmed one patient with several others in the water. Paramedics boarded a Jet Ski to be taken to the patient. OCFD Fire Boat 1 was deployed utilized to transport the patient to land. Maryland Natural Resources Police assisted OCFD. The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Maryland Natural Resources Police. One male patient was transported to Atlantic General Hospital. Units cleared the scene at 1330. Units Responding: Chief 41, Captain 46, Chief 51, Chief 52, Chief 53, Paramedics 1 & 1-1, Fire Boat 1, Engine 4, Brush 15, Utility 14, MNRP, & OCPD.
