Residential Structure Fire - 9750 Martha's Landing Road

The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office has determined the house fire located at 9750 Martha’s Landing Road to be accidental. Lightning Strike data obtained from the National Weather Service and other resources concluded there were lightning strikes in the area the night in question. Interviews with witnesses and burn patterns observed at the scene assisted in the determination of the point of origin. A lightning strike is believed to have caused the ignition of the fire.
