Amanda Bunting joined Ocean City Volunteer Fire Company's Cadet Program in 1998.  She graduated from the program in 2001 and joined the department volunteering as a firefighter.  While serving as a volunteer, Amanda earned her EMT in 2003 and began working as a Part-Time Employee.  She was hired Full-Time by the department in 2006 and became a Paramedic in 2007. She was promoted to Full Time Lieutenant in 2014 and still serves the department today.  

Amanda held the office of Secretary in 2007 and 2008.
