Robert Bauer of the Charles D. & Mary A. Bauer Foundation presents a check to Assistant Chief Jester in the amount of $20,000.00 for the purchase of two battery-powered Hurst Jaws of Life rescue tools

This generous grant will enable the fire company to equip each front-line engine with a battery-powered rescue tool

AC Jester took the opportunity to explain the benefits and intricacies of the new technology to Mr. Bauer prior to the presentation of the grant

This is the third consecutive year that the fire company has received the Bauer Grant - the first year’s funds were used to complete a nozzle replacement project and last year’s funds were utilized to purchase new Thermal Imaging Cameras
