"OCFD Rescue Swimmers conducted annual recertification training this morning at 74th street and the beach. Rescue Swimmer recertification covers topics and skills that our rescue swimmers may utilize on bay and ocean rescues. During this training session Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police brought out one of their patrol boats to train with rescue swimmers on deployment and patient loading scenarios in the Ocean. This cooperative training effort is an example of how OCFD endeavors to train on a regular basis with outside agencies with who we cooperate on a regular basis.
