On Thursday November 11th Peppers Tavern of West Ocean City held a pancake dinner fund raiser for the station 5 building fund. The event ran from 4 to 8 PM. The staff of Peppers donated their time to provide all the cooking and members from the OCVFC, the OCVFC Cadets, and the OCVFC Ladies Auxiliary provided the rest. Peppers Tavern also donated all the food at no cost to the Fire Company so all the money taken in went directly to the Station 5 Building fund. Approximately 140 dinners were served to the community and with the tips that the waiters received, $1,015.00 was raised. A great time was had by all and many thanks to the members of the OCVFC family that made this such a success. Keep your eyes and ears open for more fund raisers coming up and ways we can all help to build up the station 5 building fund! Don't forget that the paver drive is on-going and be sure to pick up paver forms to pass on to family, friends and local businesses.
