08:45 Ocean City to all Ocean City radios, Please stand by for the 1st of 6 September 11th, 2001, memorial announcements: At 8:46 a.m. on September 11th, 2001, American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the north face of the North Tower of the World Trade Center. All 90 people on board were killed. Unknown hundreds more inside the building also lost their lives upon impact. Please observe a moment of reflection and respect for these individuals and their families. *** 09:02 Ocean City to all Ocean City radios, Please stand by for the 2nd of 6 September 11th, 2001, memorial announcements: At 9:03 a.m. on September 11th, 2001, Flight 175 crashed into the south face of the South Tower of the World Trade Center. All 65 people on board the aircraft died instantly on impact, and unknown hundreds more in the building as well. Please observe a moment of reflection and respect for these individuals and their families.

09:36 Ocean City to all Ocean City radios, Please stand by for the 3rd of 6 September 11th, 2001, memorial announcements: At 9:37 a.m. on September 11th, 2001, American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the western side of the Pentagon and started a violent fire inside the building. All 64 people on board were killed upon impact and 125 Pentagon personnel died in this attack. Please observe a moment of reflection and respect for these individuals and their families. 09:57

At 9:58 a.m. on September 11th, 2001, the South Tower of the World Trade Center collapsed. As the roar of the collapse went silent, and the wind cleared the smoke, it became clear that the building was no longer there. The loss of so many civilian lives, and the reality that we have lost many of our brothers and sisters trying to save others.

10:02 Ocean City to all Ocean City radios, Please stand by for the 5th of 6 September 11th, 2001, memorial announcements:

At 10:03 a.m. on September 11th, 2001, United Airlines Flight 93 crashed, into a field in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. All 44 lives were lost in the crash. Passengers had learned about the World Trade Center and Pentagon crashes on their cell phones and several passengers attempted to regain control of the aircraft. Their heroic efforts prevented the flight from reaching either the U. S. Capitol or the White House. Please observe a moment of reflection and respect for these individuals and their families. ***

10:27 Ocean City to all Ocean City radios, Please stand by for the final September 11th, 2001, memorial announcement:

At 10:28 a.m. September 11th, 2001, The North Tower of the World Trade Center collapsed. A total of 2,996 people died and over 6,000 were injured in the 4 terrorist attacks on this day. Among these were 343 firefighters, 71 law enforcement officers and 2 paramedics. Help us to remind others by example to "Never Forget". Please observe a moment of reflection and respect for these individuals, their families, and for those that lost their life or are suffering from illnesses from the countless time they spent at "Ground Zero" during the rescue and recovery efforts.
